Reimagining Wetlands

Kolkata's wetlands serve as a critical case study for urban resilience, highlighting how artistic traditions can reframe our relationship with water and cultural heritage. Aligning with World Wetlands Day 2027, this conference explores how water museums and creative practices can mutually sustain and challenge one another. It positions the region's unique wetlands and mangroves as living laboratories of resilience while promoting collaborative, decolonial approaches to water heritage.
